• Secures a blade-style ground or terminal to the appliance cabinet so the chassis stays electrically grounded
• Provides a stable metal-to-metal contact point for the ground conductor or terminal blade
• Helps stop intermittent ground contact that can cause buzzing, arcing, or electrical faults
