The Door Boot Gasket is an OEM replacement part for Bosch washing machines. This gasket forms a tight seal around the washer door, preventing leaks and ensuring optimal water containment during cycles.

Causes of a faulty gasket include wear over time and repeated use. Mineral buildup or tears in the sealing material allow for leaks.

Symptoms of a bad door boot gasket include:

  • Water leaking from the door area
  • Visible cracks or tears in the gasket
  • Mold or mildew growth
  • An unpleasant odor from the washer
  • The washer door not sealing properly

This front load washer door boot seal is used on many Bosch/Siemens including those model numbers beginning with WFMC/WFXD and serial numbers beginning with FD8710-Later. For serial numbers beginning with FD8505-FD8709 order 00667489.

This Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore washing machines.

Jimmie, thank you for your question, there are 2 counter weights on the front of the washer that are held in place with bolts, check to make sure they are tight. Look at the suspension shocks underneath to make sure that they are not broken and are working properly. Check the two suspension springs at the top as well to see if they are stretched.

Steven, You will want to check to make sure that the door is not sagging which could be a hinge problem but sounds like the door gasket would be the issue.
