1 Answer Hi Mike. Remove the bottom kick plate. Use a flashlight and make sure all 4-legs are firmly adjusted to the ground. Then remove the lower rack and use a torpedo level side to side and front to back adjusting the level legs so when the tub remains level when the full load is hot in heated dry. This way the tub does not sag. Then feel the inner door panel where it closes against the door seal part # 00263096. Check both for nicks and tears. Perplexed April 25, 2012 for Model Number SHU66C06UC Door Gasket Our original door gasket (black) is degrading and leaves black greasy spots on any plastic inside the dw. You offer two gaskets, one black and one gray. Why the price differential? Do they both work the same? Are they made of different materials? Is one better than the other, last longer than the other? It could possibly be the make/design of the gasket, as far as the grooves, length, etc. go. 1 Answer Hi Harry. The door gasket just needs to be equally divided on the sides. The door gasket part #00263096 will naturally settle after a dozen or so running times. Mike March 12, 2012 for Model Number SHU9912UC/11 I can hear water sloshing inside the dishwater while it is running. The dishwasher does not leak. The sound is coming near the top middle of the door. Is this the correct seal to correct this problem. My seal is black. In the display your seal appears to be grey. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Mike. When the dishwasher washes, there is water being "thrown" around inside the unit. It is normal to hear the water being circulated during unit operation. If you want to replace the seal, the part number for the black seal is 12054183. I notice you asked if this would correct the situation. The door seal is what keeps the water from leaking out from around the door. It will not make the water noise stop. The water noise will occur anytime the unit is in operation.
