Michael September 10, 2019 for Model Number DKC645BLS When I turn my kegerator on the touch key board shows the temp inside. It will cool and freeze and show correct temp. It will not let me adjust up or down the temp or change from F to C
1 Answer Michael, based on the information provided it is likely that the touchpad (1.01.03.10.002R) has shorted. The touchpad and ribbon cable should be inspected for any signs of damage. While it is possible that the issue may be in the display board, the most likely cause of failure is the touchpad. Read More...

Snoop5184 October 22, 2017 for Model Number DKC645BLS My Danby Unit was working fine for 10 years then the other day it started making a high pitched beep and the EE error came up on the screen. I replaced the sensor in the bottom left (part# 1.01.01.08.011R) plugged the fridge back in and got the same result, loud beep and EE error. What do you suggest I try next?
1 Answer Hello Snoop5184. The EE is an error code saying that it is not getting the proper signal from the sensor. You need to check the wiring from the sensor inside the unit that goes to the board behind the display. If that looks good you need to take off the top and check the wiring. If that is all okay your problem is the board. The part number is 1.01.02.03.029RASSY. Thanks. Read More...

Kevin March 22, 2016 for Model Number DKC654BLS I have replaced both the PC board and the control board, yet I still get a loud continuous beep and the display flashes EE. 1 Answer Kevin, There is a temperature sensor in this unit which would be part number 1.01.01.08.015R that would need to be replaced. Read More...

Sam November 07, 2015 for Model Number beer keg cooler xb 180 I have a Beer Keg cooler XB-180 which has a near identical Display Board. When turned on it beeps once, displays a temp of 70 and the buttons don't work(change temp & F to C). After 10 seconds or so, I get a solid beep noise that will not stop until the fridge is turned off. The display changed from EE to 70 over and over. Can you advise what fault this is and what parts I might need?
1 Answer Sam, Unfortunately we do not have any technical information for this unit but from the sounds of it, the control board would most likely be the issue. Read More...
John April 23, 2014 for Model Number DKC645BSL Danby Kegerator My kegerator wouldn't let me set the desired temp or change from C to F. At first it would just stay at 41F, then one day it froze everything in it. I figured it must be the control board and ordered one last week. Part AP5781898, Order #4299516. It arrived today and I installed it. When I plugged it up, it first showed the temp inside the kegerator, not the desired termperature and it wouldn't let me change from C to F. After about ten seconds, it started making a high pitched noise and flashing EE on the temp display. I checked all of the wiring and connections and they looked OK. Plugged it up again and it repeated the noise and EE code. Could my replacement board be a defect? I don't think its the temp sensor since it shows the right temp for the first few seconds each time I plug it up. Thanks, John
1 Answer John, The EE error code is a open sensor. Based on the issue that you are having it would require the sensor be replaced since you have a new display board. Read More...
