Michael, based on the information provided it is likely that the touchpad (1.01.03.10.002R) has shorted. The touchpad and ribbon cable should be inspected for any signs of damage. While it is possible that the issue may be in the display board, the most likely cause of failure is the touchpad.

Hello Snoop5184. The EE is an error code saying that it is not getting the proper signal from the sensor. You need to check the wiring from the sensor inside the unit that goes to the board behind the display. If that looks good you need to take off the top and check the wiring. If that is all okay your problem is the board. The part number is 1.01.02.03.029RASSY. Thanks.

Jordan, Unfortunately there would not be a board that would be compatible for a discontinued board as the manufacturer did not make a suitable replacement.

John for Model Number DKC645BSL Danby Kegerator

My kegerator wouldn't let me set the desired temp or change from C to F. At first it would just stay at 41F, then one day it froze everything in it. I figured it must be the control board and ordered one last week. Part AP5781898, Order #4299516. It arrived today and I installed it. When I plugged it up, it first showed the temp inside the kegerator, not the desired termperature and it wouldn't let me change from C to F. After about ten seconds, it started making a high pitched noise and flashing EE on the temp display. I checked all of the wiring and connections and they looked OK. Plugged it up again and it repeated the noise and EE code. Could my replacement board be a defect? I don't think its the temp sensor since it shows the right temp for the first few seconds each time I plug it up. Thanks, John

John, The EE error code is a open sensor. Based on the issue that you are having it would require the sensor be replaced since you have a new display board.
