Kyle September 06, 2022 for Model Number DKC645BLS I can’t change the temperature on my kegerator. It seems to stay at 41degree.
1 Answer Kyle, if the temperature selector will not respond to touch, the interface would be the cause of failure. If it does respond to touch, the display is showing the current temperature which would need to be verified with a separate thermometer. If the temperature readings match up, it is likely that the sealed system is unable to cool the unit any farther which would require an EPA-certified technician to diagnose and repair the failure. Gary August 18, 2022 for Model Number Danby kegorator DKC645BLS Wont stay at a consistent temp goes from 46-41 degrees and then when i try to adjust like it says in the manual push once starts flashing then trying to adjust down in temp. it just changes from Fahrenheit to Celsius 41 F to 5 C every time i get it to start flashing . does this mean it is bad or im not doing it right ? the guy gave it away for free and luckily my wife grabbed it but i dont want to sink allot of money into it .
1 Answer Gary, if pressing the up or down arrows to activate the temperature change and then to change the temperature is causing the display to change to Celsius, the failure would be in the user control 1.01.02.03.029R. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More...
Del Brannen May 23, 2021 for Model Number DKC586BL I just replaced the display board, plugged all connection back in and after 20 seconds, the display starts flashing EE and there is a high pitch squeal coming from the board. What would be the issue? There does not appear to be any loose wire connections.
1 Answer Del Brannen, Check the power supply to the board to ensure that there is not an overvoltage but sounds likely that you received a faulty control board. Read More...
Steve February 04, 2021 for Model Number DKC645BLS I have Danby Keg cooler DKC645BLS. When plugged in the display and temp controls work but the compressor will not turn on unless I give it a hard tap on top of the unit right above the display. The compressor will run until the desired temp is reached then turn off but it will not turn on again unless I hit it again lol. I already made sure the power and ribbon connectors were plugged into the display board all the way and it is clean. Is this the display board or PC board that needs to be replaced? Thanks.
1 Answer Steve, if the fan is operating properly before the top is tapped on, the failure would be in the compressor relay of the PC board 1.01.02.01.003R. Read More...

Dylan June 11, 2020 for Model Number Danby dkc645bls This kegerator is 13. It started beeping and flashing the front screen. Then it went to beeping until unplugged and reset. As of today it just shuts off completely after about 2 minutes. When reset the display works, shows set temp, can be adjusted up or down, and reverts to inside temp. Compressor runs but after two minutes or so it just turns off. I think it’s the control board but trying to verify before buying a replacement part.
1 Answer Hello Dylan, if the condenser fan moto next to the compressor also turns off after 2 minutes then the control board is faulty. Read More...
