Jim Gosselin May 10, 2020 for Model Number WH43s1E I need a starter relay but cant seem to find this model anywhere. It's a 2 yr old mini fridge. The relay looks like a common one but it has electrical connection tabs on 2&3 on the same side. The others have either 2 connection tabs on 3&4 or have 3 tabs. Do the locations even matter or are they electrically the same?
1 Answer Jim, Unfortunately, we are not showing any parts for this model to be able to assist properly with the part. Read More...
Allen March 20, 2017 i have freezer relay part# qp2-4.7. how can i check to make sure the relay is bad. i checked for continity which i have.
1 Answer Hello Allen. If the relay has continuity, then the relay is testing good. Sounds like the compressor may be the issue with the unit. Read More...
Tim February 13, 2017 for Model Number WC3200BG My Avanti wine cooler compressor does not come on. I tried cleaning the ceramic disc in the relay (part # QP2-4.7G) but it had no effect. The light in the cooler works so I know I have power to the unit. Could it be possible a new relay switch would fix the problem, or is there a bigger issue? Any suggestions?
1 Answer Tim, It does sound like the issue will be with the relay on the compressor that is faulty. Read More...
Montana February 25, 2016 My freezer has a 3 in 1 starter that the previous owner had installed to take place of the start and overload relay and capacitor. The unit has failed so I'm trying to put it back to the original setup. I have the three prong relay, a new capacitor and overload switch. What wires go where on my 3 prong relay? Thanks
1 Answer Montana, Unfortunately we do not have wiring information on this unit to be able to advise of the wiring. In most cases if the compressor stops running with a 3 N 1 on it then the compressor has failed. Read More...

Anthony B February 08, 2016 I am currently looking for replacement relays for my compact "mini" fridge since mine has became defective. I see a lot of one pin relays listed as 12 and 33 ohms that look similar to the original qp2-4.7g part that is broken. Are these relays equivalent in any way or do I have to get a qp2.47g
1 Answer Anthony, We would need to have the model number of the unit to be able to advise on the correct relay for your unit. Read More...
Mike January 14, 2016 for Model Number hvbc31st I have a Vissani hvbc31st that has a QP2-4.7 relay (one plug). I order a replacement, but got one with three plugs /prongs; I think same part but a G model. The old relay had two wires plugged on the single prong one white and one blue. Can I use the three prong one in lieu of the single?
1 Answer Hello Mike. Yes, and just use the same prong on the new one that is on the old one. Read More...
Rod December 28, 2015 for Model Number Vissani HVBC31ST Compressor runs for about 3 - 5 secs. then goes off on overload. Checked amp draw and is reading 5.7,.....rated for 1.3a on tag! Do you think this is the start relay stuck in start windings? and not switching compressor to run windings?
1 Answer Rod, The start relay is the most likely cause for the unit to not start. A faulty start relay will cause the unit to have a much higher amp draw. Read More...
