Les October 04, 2012 for Model Number 25351692100 My water dispenser drips after use and may not be completely shutting off. Drip is slow, but does fill up the drip tray and leaks down the front of the fridge if left too long. Is this something I can take apart and clean, or am I better off just replacing the part? Randy April 15, 2012 for Model Number 25351692100 How do you install a FRIGIDAIRE Actuator - Ice (Part Number: AP3959082) ?
1 Answer Hi Randy. The actuator assy. part # 5304493022 is replaced by removing the fountain control cover first. You remove the spill catcher. Then if there are a couple of screws behind there then remove them also. Use a small screwdriver to release the side and lower clips hidden behind the fountain control assy. itself. Once you release the clips, lift up and out on the fountain control. Disconnect the wires at the interface control board to the actuator mount assy. Then you will need to remove the mount assy. 4-corner 1/4" screws holding it in. Behind it you will find the actuator pivot's connected on each side. Make sure that you reinstall the ice actuator pad exactly as removed. Be careful and do not pinch the wires as you reinstall it. Thank You. Read More...
