Nate January 03, 2018 for Model Number PLEB30T9FCB Upper oven lights do not work. No power to sockets. Switch is good. Hear a "click" (relay?) when I depress the switch but no change. Wires all look good and have continuity. Every thing else works fine (including lower oven lights). Suspect bad relay on control board. How can I check this, which relay is it? If that is the case can the board be repaired or just replaced? Is there anything else it might be? Replacing the board is a lot of money for an oven light. Before you ask, Yes in addition to a meter, I did try known good bulbs. Please help.
1 Answer Nate, If you check on the relay board Connector J4 Pin 7 (black wire), to Connector J6 Pin 1 White wire and there should be 120 vac when the light should be on. If there is not 120 vac then the control board would need to be replaced. Read More...
Ed L April 11, 2017 for Model Number PLEB30T9FCB I have a dead unit. Power is correct, wiring is hooked up properly. When I closed the circuit breaker and nothing happened. Power is at the plug. Seems that the circuit board is bad. Any ideas?
1 Answer Ed, You will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac to the control board. If there is power to it then the issue will be a faulty main control board. Read More...
Pankaj June 13, 2016 for Model Number PLEB30T9DCC Upper oven is taking too long to preheat. Heating element is fine. I do not know if it is a relay board, control board or sensor.
1 Answer Hello Pankaj. It sounds like the relay board 316443901 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
