If after I start my dishwater it will power up, you can hear the pump running, but the dishwasher shuts off after about 45 seconds. No water in dishwasher. I understand that it should run even if there is no water in it. Is the problem with the control board?

Ron Weimar April 21, 2022 for Model Number LFID2426TF3A When I depress the start button, the dishwasher starts trying to run. It will run for about 45 seconds, then power off. When I open the door, I notice that there is no water at all in the dishwasher, including in the pump, indicating to me that the water inlet valve is not providing water. Is there a safety on this dishwasher the shuts it down if you try to run it without water? Or am I looking at a bigger problem with it. The dishwasher is a Frigidaire Model LFID2426TF3A. Thank you.
1 Answer Ron, There would be no safety that would keep the water from coming in if the water is off. Test to see if there is 120 Vac coming to the water valve and if there is but the unit is not putting water in then the valve would be the issue. Read More...

Brandi August 12, 2021 for Model Number FFID2426TS2A My dishwasher keeps blinking the lights for washing, clean, sanitized. Will not allow for any other buttons to work we reset the breaker and have had a repair person come out. They said they reset the dishwasher and it may work. Started it, it did not run a full cycle before turning off and flashing lights again.
