Kathy Courtney October 12, 2017 for Model Number FAFW4011LW0 What is the difference between the User Interface Board (that is what the washer tech data sheet calls it) and the Main Control Board? It was my understanding that the Main Control Board was the one located at the top front of the washing machine... The part that goes behind the digital readings... However, after doing some research & some online checking, typing “Main Control Board “ into a search engine, it shows me a few different parts that are simply called “Control boards”... What does the User Interface Board look like?
1 Answer Kathy, The user interface and main control board on this unit will be one in the same and will be part number 137035240NH. Read More...
Sherry T June 19, 2017 for Model Number FFFW5000QW0 My washer worked fine until we laid the washer on the side to put a pedestal on. Now the washer will not start and ithe front panel does not even light up. I was wondering if water go in the control board. What would you replace first?
1 Answer Sherry, The first thing to check would be to make sure that there are no wires that got damaged when laying the unit down on its side. If all the wiring checks ok then the control board would be the likely cause for the failure. Read More...

Jeff July 12, 2016 for Model Number 41741122410 Here's a conundrum for you. Washer doesn't fill when set to normal cycle. It will first drain then sense then jumps from 42 minutes on the readout to 3 minutes. Then shut off. No power to the fill valves during any of this. But, the washer works just fine on any other cycle chosen. After examining the washer, and informing the gentleman that I believed the problem to be the control board, and then putting it back together, I tested the washer and it worked just fine on all cycles, including normal. When I checked for errors, it gave an E11 error which is a long fill. It passed every test in service mode. I understand that is simply could've been a loose connection, but that doesn't explain why it wouldn't work on the normal cycle at the beginning but did on all others. By the way, the machine was never unplugged during any of this. Is my diagnosis correct? Or do you need more info?
1 Answer Hello Jeff. You will need to check and make sure the pressure hose is not clogged and the pressure switch is good. If so, then the control board sounds like it is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
