Joe Atkinson December 14, 2020 for Model Number EIDW6105GS1 I have an electrolux dishwasher model#EIDW6105GS1. I have lost the operating manual so i'm not sure if its that simple. The unit after setting it to any setting will fill properly then go into a drain cycle and not wash. About a month ago it started doing this and i turned the breaker off and let it sit a few minutes and it sometimes would go through all the cycles normally and funtion properly but now it no longer will go though the cycles. Also when it malfuntions and goes from fill cycle straight to pumping the water out and finishes all lights on the control panel blink on and off. I would appreciate any help with my problem.
1 Answer Joe, For this issue, the most likely cause of the unit going directly to drain after filling with water would be the control board. Read More...
Jw May 12, 2019 for Model Number FFBD2406NS9B Will not drain- have removed ALL filters and drain pump- no obstructions- I can direct wire pump and it will drain fine. What else can I do?
1 Answer JW, as the pump will drain properly when voltage is applied to it, either the main control 5304512731 is not sending the voltage to the pump or the wire harness 5304504853 has a break in it. The wire can be tested by testing from connection P3 pin 4 to the wire connection going to the drain pump for continuity, then testing the white wire of the drain pump to the white wire of the door switch for continuity. If there is not continuity, then the wire is bad. If there is continuity on both, then the control has failed. Read More...
Catherine Hunter January 21, 2019 for Model Number EIDW6305GS1A Hello, the dishwasher is about 7 years old. The indication display works and responds to touch. The machine will start and run a cycle, however, the time display starts at 120 then jumps around, it will show 70, 68, 39 within seconds. It will run a cycle but then doesn't turn off or restarts. I believe its the control panel, part number 154696101. Thoughts?
1 Answer Catherine Hunter, It may be the control but, the turbidity sensor is what monitors the soil level in the water and tells the control board whether to continue washing or not. What you have described is a failing turbidity sensor, 154473901 Read More...
Peter August 23, 2017 for Model Number EIDW6105GW1 Started the dishwasher and it sounded like water was going into it, which it was. The arms swung around once that I could here and then the pump started to empty the water. All the lights on the control board came on and started flashing with each pulse of the pump. When emptied all of the lights stayed on and continued to flash. Do we need a new control board?
1 Answer Peter, Based on the information it does sound like the control board would be the issue with this unit. Read More...
Bob L February 22, 2016 for Model Number LGID24750FDA Pump drains water out but will not move to next step in cycle. I turn power off, back on, get normal lights on control panel, after 10 sec, all lights go off except time left which does not change from 30 sec. The cancel function does nothing. Pump just continues to run after all water is drained out.
1 Answer Bob, With the issue that you are having this does sound like ti would be a control board issue. We would need to have a valid model before we could assist further. Read More...
Nancy Galligan November 15, 2014 for Model Number EIDW6105GB1 We have been having problems with getting the dishwasher to start. We push the button with no response. No lights appear. We checked that the power to the control board is ok. It is 20v DC to the board. We are thinking of ordering a new Control Board. Do you know if there are any known problems that could cause this? Should we just replace the board?
1 Answer Nancy, If getting proper power to the control board then the control board would need to be replaced. The part number for the control board is 154696101. Read More...
