The Frigidaire Crisper Pan is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire brand appliances. The crisper pan is used for holding fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator. It is designed to slide in and out for easy access.

Causes of needing to replace the crisper pan include cracking or damage from mishandling, discoloration or staining over time, or issues with the humidity control mechanism.

Symptoms of a faulty crisper pan include:

  • Inability to maintain proper humidity levels
  • Excessive dryness or wilting of produce
  • Cracking, warping, or other physical damage

Color: clear. Note: Due to a factory revision, the new pan does not have the humidity control slide.

This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.

For Frigidaire Crisper Pan (Part Number: OEM13274742)

Deb L for Model Number Model #: FFSS2622NB

We just bought this new model of refrigerator and want to add one more crisper to the two that came with the refrigerator; one more refrigerator door bin, and one more glass shelf. How do I tell which parts will go with this particular model so that I purchase the correct items? Also, is it possible to purchase another door bin that has a pull down clear plastic lid and is meant for a carton of eggs mostly likely? We are thinking we might like to get another one of those to put butter and cheese in. Also, is there a smaller crisper drawer that we could put up higher in the refrigerator for storing cold cuts in? At present, we are storing them in the smaller bin that is currently at the bottom of the refrigerator. Maybe instead, what we need to do is move that bin up a bit. But we would still like another large crisper bin to keep fruit in that is separate from the vegetables we put in the other large crisper bin. Any recommendations or advice would be very helpful. We do really like this refrigerator!

Deb, Unfortunately the dairy compartment on the door and the crisper drawer, you cannot add these to the unit. The shelf for the door would be part number 240356401 and the glass shelf would be part number 240355270.

Hello Becky. Typically they can't. The bottom pan is contoured to the bottom of the refrigerator and is shaped differently then the upper. The lower pan is part# 240351240

Hello Tommy, Facing the front of the drawer you will see two retainer stubs on the right end of the slider (opposite end of the slide handle. With a very thin bladed screwdriver pry down the top stub while pushing rearward on the slide. Be careful not to pry too hard and break the stub. The slide will pop loose, rotate it and remove it from the old drawer. Remove the two white clips from the old drawer also. Insert the white clips onto the new drawer, rotate the slide into place on the new drawer. Insert the bottom stub onto the drawer and press the top stub until it clicks onto the drawer. Why it does not come with the drawer is a very good question to ask the manufacturer, since they determine this.

Martha, You have to lift the slide on the drawer to get the slide all the way to the notches. Once you do this then it can be removed.
