Braddoc April 10, 2020 for Model Number FGID2474QF4B My soap door will not stay closed- it pops open before the door is even closed, regardless of whether the power is on or not. I tried taking a brush to see if there is any residue preventing it from staying closed to no avail. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Braddoc, This would be a faulty detergent dispenser which will be part number A00130341. Read More...

Rene March 04, 2020 for Model Number FGID2474QF7B The door on my Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher soap dispenser does not open. Even if I try and do it manually it will take me about 10 tries before it will pop open. Does this mean I need to replace the whole unit? Ugh, this dishwasher is not very old. Is this replacement an easy job? Could Matt do a video to show how to???? Thank you for any feedback to help me resolve this problem.
1 Answer Rene, there may be soap residue that is causing the door to stick on the dispenser A00130341. Using a brush and vinegar to try and clear anything that may be causing it to stick could help. Aside from that, the entire dispenser would need to be replaced. The replacement is reasonably easy. With the power turned off to the dishwasher, the front door panel would be removed by taking out the screws holding it to the inner panel. From there, the wire connectors of the dispenser would be removed and the mounting screws are taken out of the dispenser, allowing the part to be changed. Read More...
Benjamin August 07, 2019 for Model Number FGID2474QF0B My dishwasher is leaking out of the center O-Ring, underneath the sprayer arm/drain filter. I am unclear from spec pictures what all needs to be replaced to fix this. Can I just replace the O-ring or do I need to do the sump or whatever attaches underneath. Thanks!
1 Answer Benjamin, the sump o-ring can be replaced separately and is part number 111918600. However, it would be recommended to inspect the sump assembly to ensure that there are no cracks in the housing. Read More...
