For Frigidaire Door Handle (Part Number: OEM6343626)

Hello Marty, You will need to yank the handle up toward the ceiling to release it from the clips and the screws in the door panel fit into a "keyhole" slot. You will then be able to tighten the screws. Reinstall the handle by reversing the procedure.

Hi, I need to replace the refrigerator door handle to my Kenmore frig. It's just over 1 year .. so missed warranty. My ice maker also died. But trying to just deal with the handle. Model number is 10670213410.. stainless steel frig... I'm hoping you can help or if not point me in the right direction. Kenmore and Sears offered no help.. except for sending someone to my house for a couple hundered dollars plus part cost. I know I can fix the handle myself. thanks in advance. cad

Catherine, you will need part number W10915362, there is a single screw at the top that has to be removed to release the handle.

Dave for Model Number 253.6880201E

the original door handles on Kenmore fridge are shaped with handles that extend about 3 inches from door at one end and flush at the other. when mounted the extended ends are next to each other vertically. unfortnately, when the bottom door is open it is easy to hit one's head on the upper handle which extends from the door. can i use part # AP2114539 which has both ends flush (more or less) with door - and appears to be the same fit? this would prevent banged heads. thx.

1 Answer

Dave, There are a few differences in the overall dimensions of the handles, and minor differences in the mounting/attachment points(you can "fudge" around those, most likely) but we don't see a "major" issue in switching the handles at this point. Just make sure you order two(2) and be careful.

Dan, The part number for the door handle on this unit will be a handle set 5303918823 and is the only way to get the handles for the unit as they do not come separately.

Sara for Model Number FPUH19D7LF0

My freezer door handle broke off. I would like to repair it and would love to use their newer version handle, so that it will match my (newer) fridge. The new models come with a 4 screw handle which is sturdier, item #297330301. is this compatible with my model freezer? I measured the 2 screw holes on my freezer and they do align with the holes on my fridge. Maybe I can drill 2 additional holes on the door? Will that work? option 2, is buying a new door and a new handle (297329324, and the handle). Is this new door compatible with my freezer? I would love to hear from you! thx, sara
