The Front O-Ring is an OEM part for Frigidaire dishwashers. This component is essential for maintaining a watertight seal in the front areas of the dishwasher's internal systems, such as around the pump or valve connections. It prevents water leaks and ensures the efficient operation of the dishwasher. The rear O-ring is part number AP2109101

Causes of a bad front O-ring can include regular wear and tear, exposure to high temperatures, and chemical degradation from detergents and rinse aids. Over time, the O-ring may dry out, crack, or become deformed, leading to leaks and decreased performance.

Symptoms of a bad front O-ring include:

  • Water leaking from the front of the dishwasher
  • Puddles forming under the appliance
  • Reduced cleaning performance due to water pressure issues
  • Noticeable wear, cracks, or deformation on the O-ring

This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

Questions & Answers

For Frigidaire Front O-Ring (Part Number: OEM6327315)

Joe, The first check should be at the water level in the bottom of the tub, start the dishwasher and let it fill and wash for 2 or 3 minutes, unlatch the door, remove the lower rack and measure the water level at the center of the tub. The water level should be at least one(1) inch deep, and cover the slots in the spray arm support 5304532235, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches would be even better. If you haven't yet, remove and check all the filters and the inside of the pump housing for debris, sediment, and possible clogs. If all's OK, you'll need to remove the motor assembly 154859101 and check the impeller for damaged vanes.
