Joe B July 29, 2013 for Model Number Frigiaire PLD2850RDC1 Circulating and drain pumps run. Spray arms holes are not clogged, and arms are free to turn...BUT they won't do it. It's like the pump isn't building enough pressure to spin them around and do a good wash. could it be o rings in the circ pump? Loose fit between lower spray arm support and base? any idea? .
1 Answer Joe, The first check should be at the water level in the bottom of the tub, start the dishwasher and let it fill and wash for 2 or 3 minutes, unlatch the door, remove the lower rack and measure the water level at the center of the tub. The water level should be at least one(1) inch deep, and cover the slots in the spray arm support 5304532235, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches would be even better. If you haven't yet, remove and check all the filters and the inside of the pump housing for debris, sediment, and possible clogs. If all's OK, you'll need to remove the motor assembly 154859101 and check the impeller for damaged vanes. Read More...
Brad A January 02, 2012 for Model Number FDB1050RECO I have a slow drip coming from the water pump. I took it apart and did not find anything wrong, no cracks or anything obvious. Could it be just the O-rings or something more serious?
1 Answer Hello Brad. Yes, the o-rings 154247001 could be bad in the unit. You can check and see if they are cracked or hard. Hope this helps. Read More...
