C.W. January 21, 2018 Can the door handle from a Frigidaire Gallery French Door refrigerator be swapped out on standard non-Gallery Frigidaire French Door refrigerator? Are the mounting brackets the same? My Gallery fridge stopped working. I can find no difference between the Gallery & non-Gallery. It seems like only badging & handles. I would like to keep all the kitchen appliances the same if at all possible. More than likely will have to pay the extra, but wanted to check. Thank you
1 Answer Hello C.W., We would have to ask you to please post a new question with the model numbers of both refrigerators to check to see if the handles are interchangeable. This would be the only way we can check. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

1 Answer Tonya, you will need to remove the door handles in order to tighten the retainer bolts on the door panel. You will need to push up on the handle, sometimes you need a rubber mallet or hit the bottom of the handle with the ball of your fist to push it up above the retainer clip inside the handle. It only takes a 1/2 to 3/4 inch move up. Just be careful, not to scratch or dent the panel around the handle. tighten the mounting bolts, and reverse the procedure. Read More...
