Patti M September 03, 2017 for Model Number FFHS2311LB7 The refrigerator handle has come loose from the door at the top part of the handle. The screw is still in the handle. We have tried to lift the handle from the door to remove the bottom part of the handle from the door, but it will not turn loose. We need instructions for fixing this mess. Thanks.
1 Answer Patti, You will want to lift up the handle and it should come off the unit and should be able to tighten the screws. Read More...
Stephen J August 10, 2017 for Model Number FFHS2611LBRA After calling Frigidaire regarding loose handle, they told me there are small screws to tighten. There are none. I found the articles here about two models and mine sounds like the one where I need to pull up the handles. I tried pulling up but the handle does not come off. The loose handle is the freezer door at the bottom. I read the part about trying to lift up and pull but that did not work either. I tried to lift up on the secure handle on the non freezer side and it also does not come off. I am at this point afraid to really pull and break something.
1 Answer Stephen, Pulling up on the handle is the way it is supposed to go on but you may have to try to pull down on it if the installer put them on upside down. When pulling you do have to use force to pull them up or down to release. Read More...
Pam July 28, 2017 for Model Number FFTR1814Q How can I tighten the handle, it is loose at the bottom. I can see the screws but don't know how to tighten them. Thank you
1 Answer Pam, Remove the screws at the top of the handle and then rotate the handle to the outside of the door. Once you have rotated it then you will slide the bottom of the handle off the screw and tighten it down. Read More...
Ron July 09, 2017 for Model Number Frigidaire-ffhs2311lbha What if if the handle on my side by side freezer door is loose but cannot come off by sliding and/or pulling out?
1 Answer Hello Ron. The door handle will have one of 2 designs. The first design would have a set screw on the side of the handle that you would need to tighten. The second design you would lift the door handle up to remove. These are the only 2 ways to remove the handles. Thanks. Read More...
Steve July 05, 2017 for Model Number LGHB2867PFGA The freezer door handle is loose. I've taken an Allen Wrench and was able to tighten this some, but cannot tighten it completely. At this point, I need help. Any ideas?
1 Answer Steve, When tightening the handle you should push in on the handle to make sure that it is flush and if you did this and still not tightening all the way then this would be stripped and would have to replace the handle. Read More...

Carol February 09, 2017 Hi, we have a fridgeaire with a broken handle. We have the replacement handle. However, there is no bottom screw where to slide the handle on to. The hole is there but no screw. According to what we know, you slide the handle on to the anchor screw, then turn it, and put in the top two screws. Just not sure what to do with no anchor. Ideas? Thanks!
