The Washer Drain Hose is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire washing machines. It is a flexible, 7 ½ ft plastic hose that connects the washer tub to the household drainage system. The drain hose removes water from the washer at the end of each cycle.

Symptoms of a faulty drain hose include:

  • Water failing to fully drain or continuously draining
  • Wet  flooring around the washer due to leaks
  • Excess water left standing in the washer tub after cycles
  • Reduced washing performance due to inadequate drainage

Causes of a bad drain hose include kinks or bends that restrict water flow, cracks or holes from wear and tear, and blockages from accumulated debris. These issues can compromise the hose's ability to drain water properly.

This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

Hello, This can be a clogged hose, but it is more likely to be stopped up between the tub and the hose. The drain pump and motor assembly 131268401 could have failed either due to an item in the pump or just a defective pump.

Is it likely that a washer would suddenly start leaking from the bottom of the drain hose? I have a sudden slow leak..but cannot see it actually leaking. I have the front off, and watch the entire cycle with a flashlight. The water fills the pocket in the base beneath the drain hose next to the pump. No leaking is noticable from the pump, or the inlet hose from the tub. I lifted up the drain hose and it appears to be the source..but why after 9 or 10 years would the drain hose leak just where it lies on the base?

Hi Tim. It is common with the drain hose that is a corregated part to rub and eventually start a small leak. Thank God you found it now whre no more damge can occur. When you replace the hose, make sure to take advantage of the plastic stand offs that may be in the base and frame to clip the hose into. Hose part # 131461200. Thank You.
