Geoffrey C January 03, 2013 for Model Number Ffgf3013lwd Stove top none of the burners are getting spark? I believe its the spark module located under top stove. It is only 18mo old what do you think. Also removed the screws in the front above oven door top won't slide forward. Do I need to disconnect the burner assembly to get the top to move to service the module.
1 Answer Hello Geoffrey, It does sound like it would be an issue with the spark module. To lift the main top you will have to remove the burner heads and there should be 2 tabs between switch panel and main top to push in on to lift top. Read More...
Johnny October 11, 2012 for Model Number Frigidaire gas range FGFL67HSF When I turn on my left front burner on, I only smell the gas however the ignite does not light the gas on? My other three burners work fine. My left front burner work only when I turn it on and then I light by a match. Any help would be deeply appreciated? Thank you, Johnny
1 Answer Hello Johnny, You have either lost the ground to this ignitor, the wire has come off, or the ignitor is bad. The first thing you need to do is start systematically start removing parts. Basically, all you are trying to do is re-establish the ground. Most of the time, a spill will cause a loss of continuity between two pieces of metal and the ignitor cannot spark without the ground. While you are in there you can verify the wire is connected to the ignitor properly. It should be on the connector tightly. If none of this produces positive results, the ignitor/orifice assembly will have to be replaced. Read More...
James R June 26, 2012 for Model Number LGGF3043KFC The front right burner on my range works intermittently. Should I replace the Ignitor/orifice Assembly or the burner or both?
1 Answer Hello James. Make sure the burner and all components are clean and there is no moisture on it. If it is good and dry and clean, you may need to replace the spark module 808608804 on the unit. Read More...
