Carlos C. August 17, 2012 for Model Number frt8b5ewa When I close the refrigerators' door, (bottom part of the refrigerator), the freezer's door (upper part of the refrigerator) opens. What should I do to fix the problem?
1 Answer Hello Carlos, A refrigerator is a sealed unit so the issue you mentioned is completely normal. You may want to adjust the leveling of the unit to make the freezer door close back on its' own, (make the unit lean back a bit). If this corrects the issue, you should check the ice maker to insure it is level and if not, adjust it to level using the mounting screws that secure it to the wall, if equipped with an ice maker.
