Shane H. August 20, 2013 for Model Number FGGF3056KFB I have the Frigidaire Gas Range FGGF3056KFB. Several of the buttons on the control panel are not working, not registering when pushed. However, a few buttons still do work, Bake, 4, 9. Does this indicate that the faulty part is the membrane, part AP4455777, or would it be the electronic control, AP4557400. Is there a way to test each part? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Shane. If some buttons work and others do not, you will need to order and replace the membrane 316549106 on the unit. You can test the ribbon cable for contacts closing on it when the buttons are pressed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
