The Burner Orifice is an OEM part for Frigidaire cooktops and ranges. It is a critical component that controls the flow of gas to the burner, ensuring a consistent and stable flame for cooking. The orifice regulates the amount of gas released to the burner, which in turn affects the size and intensity of the flame.

Causes of a bad burner orifice can include food debris or grease build-up, corrosion from prolonged exposure to gas, or physical damage from cleaning or handling.

Symptoms of a bad burner orifice include:

  • Uneven or irregular flame
  • Burner not igniting
  • Weak or yellow flame
  • Gas smell near the burner

This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

Gary, the left front, left rear, and right rear orifices are part number 316527500 while the front right orifice is part number 316527502. With this done, the flames should be blue, if there is any yellow, adjustments to the air shutter and orifice hood can be made in small amounts.
