Tony January 08, 2023 for Model Number FRA18EMT2 My unit has supplemental heat. I came home yesterday to a room that had heated up to 93 degrees even though the unit was st to 70. I powered off the device but I noticed that it kept blowing heat. I could see the heating element was still on even when the unit was turned off. I turned on the AC to try and cool the unit down and then powered off the unit. I noticed as I was unplugging it the AC I could see the heating element heating up again. Could it be the control panel or main baord?

I came in the other day to the smell of burned wiring. A check of the unit showed no melting of wires and the main plug reset function had not been tripped. There is power on the unit but the display will not light up. I removed the control panel from the front but it doesnt look burnt. Could the control panel still be the problem since it will not light up
