You would need to pull the unit out from installation and hook the spring on the arm of the hinge. Once hooked you will then attach the spring to the base of the dishwasher. Vickie October 13, 2013 for Model Number FDB2415LFB0 I have a Frigidaire dishwasher that is about 7 years old. It was in storage for 2 years and now the door squeaks really loud when you open and close it. I have DW-40'd it on all the moving metal parts including the springs but it still squeaks . Do I need to replace the springs?
