Norm W October 23, 2016 for Model Number Frigidaire Range FGEF3055MBC How do you test an infinite switch 316238201 to see if it has failed?
1 Answer Hello Norm. You turn on the switch and test for power to the element out of H1 and H2. If there, the switch is good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Steve C February 12, 2016 for Model Number FEFL63FSA THE RIGHT FRONT BURNER will not heat when I turn on the switch (which I believe to be AP5325508). However when I turn on either of the left elements - either front or back - the right front element will work) Is it the switch that has failed? or another part?

Solas May 27, 2015 for Model Number CFEF3048LSM I have a Frigidaire stove, model number: CFEF3048LSM. With the dual burner, the small coil works well on its own but, when i try switching on both the coils together, only the outer ring lights up. When i press the switch the smaller ring will light up but will turn off when i let go. What do you suggest the issue might be? Will replacing the switch help? Thank you.

Amy June 12, 2013 for Model Number 790.95662100 One of the burners does not have the hot surface indicator light come on. Do I replace a switch
1 Answer Amy, The switch does not control the hot surface indicator. The elements control this light and if there is a certain one that does not turn it on then the element would need to be replaced. If this is a surface indicator to show that the burner is on and not a hot surface indicator then the issue would be the switch. Read More...
