Neil November 19, 2012 for Model Number LFT2940ES0 My front load washer was full of water between loads. The water was up to the rim, but not over. It was not hot -- maybe room temperature. It seemed clean, not dirty or sudsy. When I put the washer into a drain/spin cycle, it drained without any (apparent) problem. Could it be the water valve?
1 Answer Hello Neil. Yes, based on the information you provided, you will need to replace the water valve on the unit. Read More...
Stephanie September 30, 2011 for Model Number LFT2940ES1 Last question - we purchased the valve locally that you said was the correct part 1347210. But when we were going to change it out, this part number does not have a place for the thermistor to plug in. Do you know if they changed the valve so that it is not necessary for the thermistor? Part number has the plug in for the thermistor, but like you have said and all other places I have searched online, it says that 1347210 is the correct part for our machine.
1 Answer Hello Stephanie. According to the model number you provided, 134371210 is the correct water valve. If your has a thermistor, you will need to replace it with a thermistor valve assembly 134371220. Hope this helps. Read More...
