Hello Leo. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Lowell. Remove the tube from the valve and see if it is dripping. If so, replace the valve. If not, then the diode 5303918287 may need to be replaced on the unit.

Keith, You will want to check to make sure that the ice door is getting a good seal. You can do this by putting a flashlight in the ice chute and looking up into the dispenser to see if you see light around the door. If there is light you will want to check to see what is causing the door to stay cracked open. For the water issue, remove the lower kickplate and disconnect the hose and push the dispenser lever to see if water comes out of the tubing. If so your water line is frozen in the door and will need to be thawed or replaced. Pull the icemaker out and check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen. If both of these check ok then you will want to check the water filter to make sure that it is not frozen.

I am not getting water or ice, and filter is not the problem. There is no water flowing past the inlet valve located right after the water line from the house (house line plugged in, power on, unplugged waterline downstream of this valve and pressed the water dispenser - no water flow). Is part AP2114865 the correct replacement part? I do not see the brass recepticle that mates to the house waterline, and I cannot find any other part in your catalog that shows this. Appreciate your help! Thank you.

Hi Don. No the saddle valve connects to your water supply (plumbing) feeding the water to your unit. The water valve (as discussed) is mounted on the back of your unit, behind a lower cover. It is mounted to the Rt. side of the back frame. The water line hose from the saddle valve (or wall valve) is connected to the water valve on the refrigerator. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello Marty, have you tried swapping the water hoses to see if that helps? If it doesn't help, we show the connectors on the solenoids to be the same size. Try swapping them from one solenoid to the other, it will be either the water line or the wires that are crossed. Hope this helps!
