2 Answers Terrance, Aside from maybe a tub seal, there should be nothing in the unit that would be a rubber that would show up. It would be recommended to pull the inner tub and see if there appears to be any damage to the seal. Read More...

2 Answers Hello Terrance, there may be more than one cause, the gearcase contains the outer tub seal which is black rubber, but it may also be caused by the hot/cold water inlet hoses or their sealing washers breaking down.
