Andrew June 25, 2022 for Model Number ZBD6800K How do I test the fan? I go to service mode and select fan & heater and the fan spins up, but I can't detect airflow from the vent inside the dishwasher door. I'm not sure if that is expected or the fan is malfunctioning.
1 Answer Andrew, testing the fan through diagnostics to identify if it turns on would be the testing procedure used. The vent does not extend all the way to the bottom of the door so feeling the air flowing can be difficult. As the fan is being heard, this identifies that it is receiving voltage. Inspecting for any blockages in the air flow can help identify where the problem could be. Read More...
Peggy J January 27, 2017 for Model Number ZBD8900D00II Condensation if forming on the top left of the door. The condensation can first be seen by looking in the gap between the countertop and the dishwasher door. There is a 1/2 gap per installation guide, page 11. The condensation has caused the wooden cabinet front to crack. The condensation can also be seen on the left hand cabinet. What is causing this?
1 Answer Hello Peggy. It sounds like the dishwasher needs to be pulled out a little so it can vent and not hit the cabinets. Read More...

O Duran May 09, 2011 for Model Number pdw9880j00ss Where does the blower go and will this prevent a new heater element not to work at the end of the washing cycle.
1 Answer Hello O duran. The blower is located inside the dishwasher door. You will need to test the heater WD05X10010 and see if it is good. It should read closed for continuity. If it is good, you will need to test and see if the control board is sending power to the heater during the drying cycle. If not, you will need to replace the control board WD12X10353. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
