Jeni March 20, 2016 for Model Number JKP07G0J3BG I ordered a part from you that I thought was the broiler element to replace the old one in this older model wall oven however the broiler still does not work so I switched the wires thinking I had installed it wrong. The element does seem to get hot however does not turn red. The oven element for the bottom does turn red when oven is on however. Did I mix up the parts? The smaller element was the one I used as the broiler element.
1 Answer Jeni, This broil element WB44X173 is the correct part number for your unit. You will want to test power to the element to ensure that there is 240 vac getting to it. It sounds like the issue may be a faulty selector switch or thermostat. Read More...

What should I do? The element is new.
1 Answer J. Brown, According to the wiring diagram for the unit, the blue and white should be attached to one side of the element and the pink should be attached separately to the other side. Read More...
