For Ge Configured Ui Board (Part Number: OEM21594966)

Janet

My machine has a symptom that I'm unable to find in any other posts. Before I start ordering parts, I'd like to get someone else's take on what is happening. So I have a non-functional UI on a GDT605PSM0SS. I have 120v to the machine and 13.5v to the Ui. Here's my conundrum....with the harness to the UI disconnected from the main board, I get 13.5v when testing the pins and the green led on the main board is rapidly flashing as it should. However, once I reconnect the harness leading to the UI, the green light on the main board is no longer on. When I disconnect the UI again, the led on the main board is back on. Is this still just a cut and dry UI case? Or am I dealing with a possible main board issue as well?

Janet, If there is 13.5 VDC to the board but not coming on then the UI would be the issue and need to be replaced.

Tyler for Model Number GDT605PFM0DS

My dishwasher will shut off after a wash has been completed. I have removed the lower panel on the dishwasher to check the status light of the control board. It will have a green light that is blinking. From what I have read, that is how it should be. The control buttons on the top of the door will have nothing. I have to go out to my house circuit breaker, turn off the breaker for the dishwasher, wait a few minutes and then turn it back on. Sometimes it comes back to life and sometimes I have to repeat that process a few times. I was told it could be the AP7198319 on the door itself. Do you have any input on this issue? I have also ran a diagnosis or system check via holding the start and cycle button at the same time when I can get the dishwasher to turn on and it shows nothing out of the ordinary. Thank you for any help.

Tyler, the main control WD21X32165 would need to be tested for 13.5VDC at the connection J402 from the black/green wire to the yellow/blue wire. If there is not voltage present, the main control has failed. If there is voltage, the user interface would need to be tested for the same voltage using the same wires. If there is not voltage, the wire harness WD21X24400 has failed. If there is voltage, the user interface WD21X31904 has failed.
