Dan June 15, 2023 for Model Number PDT825SSJ2SS I used your part finder tool to order a new UI (Configured Ui Board WD21X31907 / AP7204353) for my GE PDT825SSJ2SS. I've got the dishwasher taken apart and comparing the old and new UIs there is a difference. The old UI does not have jumpers while the new one does. Also, the old UI is labeled WKK P/N GEA6511-16 while the new UI is WKK P/N GEA6511-24. Will the new UI work with my dishwasher? I don't want to put it all back together to find out I have the wrong part!
1 Answer The manufacturer does show that the correct part number for your model is WD21X31907. It may be different as it is a redesigned part from the original part. Read More...
Caitlyn May 17, 2023 for Model Number PDT825SGJ2WW After changing this part, do I have to program it to work with board?
1 Answer Caitlynn, Since the board is configured it should work for your model. If it doesn't you can use the instruction sheet to make sure the jumper is the correct setting for your model. Read More...
1 Answer Hayden, You can test this UI board by checking to see if it is getting 13.5 vdc. If it is but not working then replace the UI Board. Read More...
Luke May 17, 2023 for Model Number PDT285JJ2SS None of the buttons work on my controls work. Would change just the user interface or the main board also?
1 Answer Luke, If nothing is lighting up then you will want to check to make sure that there is 13.5 VDC getting to the UI board. If there is but nothing is working then replace the UI board. If there is no power then check for the same thing at the main board and if there is not then the main board will be the issue. Read More...
Christopher July 19, 2021 for Model Number PDT825SSJ2SS When the UI panel went dead, I replaced the UI control board with Kit Svc UI Top Logic, Part Number: AP6279251. This appeared to fix the problem: The panel once again had lights, and I successfully ran a cycle. Most excellent. But a couple of lights are not operating. The Clean light was not lit after the cycle completed, and the amber/green status light on the front of the dishwasher never did come on. The part you sent, AP6279251, had instructions to configure the personality before installing the replacement board. It indicated stetting the J150 jumpers to Personality 2 (for PDT825), but the package contained no jumpers. No problem, I thought, because when I removed the original (defective) UI board, there were no J150 jumpers as well, so the boards looked the same. My question is whether I need to find a jumper somewhere to set Personality 2 on the replacement UI board, and whether this will return the Clean/Sanitized LED on the top of the door and the amber/green status LED on the front of the appliance. You think Lowe's has them?
1 Answer Christopher, the control would have come with adjustable jumpers installed and they are identified as 4 black rectangles side by side on the bottom of the control. These jumpers would need to be moved to the pin setting pattern specified by the instruction sheet. Read More...
Christopher July 04, 2021 for Model Number GE Profile PDT825SSJ2SS No lights. Appears dead. Circuit breaker is fine. How do I know whether to replace the service control board (Part Number WD21X24902) or the UI top logic board (Part Number WD21X23938)?
1 Answer Christopher, There should be a light on the main control board and if there is not then the board is faulty. If there is a light then the UI board will be more likely the issue. Read More...
Mark January 22, 2021 for Model Number GE Profile PDT825SSJ2SS HI, This dishwasher is installed in all 150 homes in my development. Many have had Circuit Board Failures that start with the washer beeping at you and coming on by itself. Mine is starting to do that. I want to replace mine. Is this the Circuit Board? Are there any other parts that you would recommend replacing at the same time? Thanks
1 Answer Mark, Based on your post description and information, the WD21X31907/WD21X23938 Kit Svc Ui Top Logic would be the place and component to check and replace. We wouldn't expect you to need any additional parts. Make sure you remove power to the dishwasher before you start any repair or part replacement, make sure you label, mark or photo the wiring and connections to assist in the reinstallation of the component.
