James F February 17, 2018 for Model Number GSS221FRFCC Ice maker only stays on crushed ice, cannot get it to drop cubed ice after changing selector button. I did put a rubber band and deflector, which did give me cubed ice until rubber band broke. Before I pull everything apart, was wondering if you have the answer to a more lasting fix.

1 Answer Angela, We wouldn't think you mean the ice bucket WR30X10154 which sets on the freezer shelf for the ice cubes. But you probably mean the " ice stripper " which mounts on the side of the ice maker itself. Individual repair / service parts are not available for an ice maker and you will need to replace the WR30X10093 ice maker. 1 Answer Hi Frank. There are 2-different spacers used. behind the back blade there is a spacer part # WR2X4138. Inbetween the back blade and the center blade there is a "flat spacer" part # WR2X4139. Then between the middle blade and the front blade there art 2- combined spacers. First in front of the middle blade is flat part # WR2X4139. Then the spacer part # WR2X4138. In front of the (first) blade there is a auger nut part # WR01X10315. Log into our web site and place your model # in the RED search flag area.
