The Lower Dishrack Roller Kit is an OEM part for GE dishwashers. This kit includes 8 wheels and 8 axles. It allows it to glide smoothly in and out of the dishwasher. Proper functioning of these rollers is crucial for the easy loading and unloading of dishes, ensuring that the dishrack moves efficiently along its tracks.

You should replace the lower dishrack roller kit if the rollers become worn out or damaged. Common causes of roller issues include wear and tear from frequent use, accumulation of debris, or breakage due to heavy loads or accidental impact.

Symptoms of a bad lower dishrack roller kit include:

  • Difficulty sliding the lower dishrack in and out
  • The dishrack derailing or not staying on its tracks
  • Unusual noises when moving the dishrack
  • Visible damage or wear to the rollers

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

CeeBee, The part number for the lower rack will be WD12X23419 and will be the same all the way around. There would not be a larger roller for the rear.

Mike for Model Number GLD6200L15BB

I replaced the rollers on my lower rack assembly with WD35X21038. Followed instructions from your Youtube video. No Problem with the installation. Now I have a problem where a wheel will slip off the rail towards the inside of the tank, binding the movement in or out. The wheels are loose fitting on the little axles, where the bottom of a wheel can cock inward allowing the wheel to slip off the track, thereby causing the bind. Let me know how I can fix this please. Thanks for your help.

Mike, We are showing the manufacturer has changed both the rack and the rollers. It may be that the rollers will not work for the rack that you have. One way this may work is if there was a sleeve of sorts that could be put on the posts fo the axles that would keep the axle snug on the rack. The manufacturer does not offer anything like this unfortunately and you may need to get the rack for this issue.
