It has worn away some of the hinge on the cabinet. Do I need the new stop? Does it come with new screws ? There has been no problems until recently. There is also some fine particles on the top of the freezer door coming from that area. The gasket is fine. Please help

Ron April 29, 2011 for Model Number WR2X7213 1. Will I run into any trouble when I remove to old part like other shims, spacers, washers etc. falling off such that I will have to replace them before I install the new part or any other issues like this. 2. Is there any benefit to removing the food from the refrigerator door to make it lighter, before I change the part. Thanks, appreciated Ron
1 Answer Hello Ron. Some models do use spacers. You will need to see if your model has spacers. It is easier to change the door stops with the food out of the door. It makes it lighter and you can work with it better. Hope this helps. Read More...
