For Ge Dryer Drum Bearing Kit (Part Number: OEM17420727)

Ben G for Model Number DHDSR46GG7WW

Hi I would appreciate your help with 3 questions... Will Dryer Bearing Kit WE49X20697 / AP5806906 Part Number: AP5806906 work for GE dryer model DHDSR46GG7WW? Is there a similar 'kit' that includes felt seal and housing seal along with the Lint Chute Assembly or does AP6032647 include the seals? I am planning to replace both the front drum bearing and the lint chute assembly since they have become brittle and cracked over time, is there anything I need to check regarding the drum function? I am not having any problems drying clothes. Thank you

Ben, Both WE49X20697 and WE14X25080 will work for your unit. The lint chute assembly will be the lower section with the duct and if you are needing the upper bearings then you would need part number WE49X20697. The lint chute will have seals but so will the upper bearing assembly.

Mark, If the top bearings are not installed then the green ones go in the 2 slots on top and the white/gray ones will go on the ones that are lower.

Brian for Model Number DPSB513GB0WW

Hi,Hope this email finds you well. I have a GE gas dryer Model #DPSB513GB0WW that will not start. The control panel lights up and when I push start i can here a relay click but does not run. I checked out the usual suspects such as the door switch and the broken belt interlock switch, all test fine. I also conducted the field test on the board and it cycles through with all codes as they should be, however the motor does not start. Pulled the motor and bench tested it and it runs fine.Is there any other device that would prevent it from starting up? This one has me puzzled. Looking forward to your advice. Thank you, Brian

Brian, based on the information provided, the main control WE4M296 motor relay has failed and the control would need to be replaced.

Bill, The dryer rides on the top bearing and that is it in the front. The rear has a middle bearing for support.

Tim, The kits are not listed as compatible due to the fact they are not part of the original parts list, the kits were added after the parts list was published.
