Jeff August 22, 2014 for Model Number DBVH512EF0GG Clothes are getting caught in the top of the dryer between the drum and the plastic retainer ring (there is minor squeaking as well coming from the dryer while running). Everything else works great. I checked the free play/movement in the drum. No excessive movement was noted so my assumption is the bearing slides are worn. If you agree, how many do I need to order and which ones? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jeff. You will need to replace the bearing support WE14M124 and the glides WE03X37318 and WE03X37317 2 of each glides. Also, replace the rear bearing WE1M462. Read More...
1 Answer John, There are several things that could go wrong with the unit to keep it from cooling. You will want to check the defrost circuit for the freezer to make sure that the unit is defrosting. Check the evaporator fan to make sure that it is running and there is a switching valve on the back of the unit that is part of the sealed system that could have failed. You will want to check the frost pattern on freezer evaporator and if there is no frost pattern but the refrigerator section is working then that would most likely be the issue. Read More...
