Craig February 01, 2014 for Model Number JT952-30 Smoke from a spill began coming out of upper convection oven. It appears exhaust fan is not working. How is the fan assembly replaced?
1 Answer Hello Craig. The fan in the unit is not an exhaust fan. It is a cooling fan to cool the cabinet of the unit. The smoke was on the inside, thus the reason the fan did not remove it. Read More...
Max January 14, 2014 for Model Number JTP56B0A2BB What seems to be a cooling fan has begun making a lot of noise after the oven's been running a while, and long after it's been shut off. It would seem that I need to replace the fan assembly as shown as part number AP2024761. However, your site suggests that the assembly is not compatible with my oven. Is it?
1 Answer Hello Max! Yes, the cooling fan assembly WB26K5061 is the correct replacement listed for your model. Thanks! Read More...
Tim November 12, 2013 for Model Number GE JT955BF8BB I have a GE JT955BF8BB double oven that makes a lot of noise when we use either oven. Sounds like a whining, rattling fan. Do both fans, one in the control panel and one in center section run whenever either oven is used? And do both continue to run until cool down? Not sure which one is the problem. Seems many people complain about same noise in this model. Will replacing one or both fans fix the noise? Thanks Tim
1 Answer Tim, Both cooling fan motors do run during the cooking cycle. You will want to determine which fan motor WB26K5061 is causing the noise. Replacing one or both will correct this issue with the noise. Read More...
Phil September 16, 2013 for Model Number JTP27B0A1BB Top oven overheats and shuts down during clean cycle. Is this the sensor arm?
1 Answer Hello Phil. You need to check and see if the oven sensor WB23X5340 is bad or if the control board WB27T10272 is bad and needs to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Kevin May 18, 2013 for Model Number J TP27WW1WW The oven makes a noise like a bearing in a fan squealing after the oven gets hot. Is AP2024761 the right replacement part for this oven (double wall oven). I'm pretty sure based on the control panel picture online, but want to make sure before dropping 80 bucks on it. Can you also tell me how to replace it? Thanks, Kevin

Tom March 03, 2013 Is the screen behind the blower fan needed? I believe it was loose and hitting the fan blade. The only way to replace it is to take out my double oven.
1 Answer Hello Tom, If a part is not necessary, the manufacturer will not put it in. This lowers their manufacturing costs which in turn increases their profits. The part you are referring to, while I have no clue as to what it is, will be necessary. If you would like more details, please re-post with the model number off of the units' I.D. tag and we can look up the model you are working on and give you specific information to your unit.
