Frank June 21, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore 363.79567990 We bought the replacement gasket. Installed nicely. Thank you! No real question. Just a comment on the video related to the part we ordered and our successful install. Two things that the video did not show: 1) We have a freezer-on-top style. We needed to remove the freezer door first. Also, one screw in the middle hinge is behind the refer door. The Torx driver wouldn't work so we used a vise-grip pliers. A special angle Torx tool would have been ideal. 2) Our gasket needed to be pressed into a groove, not under the door liner as shown on the video. I took us a few tries to get the right alignment of the white bead of the gasket into the groove in the door.

1 Answer Don, Have you checked the door seal for a seal to the front flange ? Use a thick piece of paper or dollar bill, open the door, lay the paper against the front flange, and pull the paper out, there should be some slight resistance, check both doors. Also check and clean the front kick plate grille, and the condenser coil and compressor compartment (remove the lower panel on the back of the machine). If you should find a problem with one of the door gaskets, it's a pretty simple repair " 1. Pull the old gasket out of the channel. 2. Soak the new gasket in warm water to make it more pliable. 3.
