Michael W. January 25, 2018 for Model Number jvm1350 How do you remove the door handle? I know about the screw at the top of the door but don't know how the bottom of the handle comes off and don't want to snap it.
1 Answer Hello Michael, Using a putty knife, carefully pry the choke cover away from the door frame. This will only need to be done around the top, bottom, and handle end of the door to access the door handle screws. After changing the door handle, the door choke should simply snap back into place. Allan Hutteball March 11, 2017 for Model Number J VM1340WW 002 This is a GE Spacemaker XL above counter (stove) microwave oven. I need the door handle. The color is white
1 Answer Allan, The part number for the door handle, for the model number you supplied is WB15X335 / WB15X335. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued the part. The manufacturer no longer sells the part. We can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us and we don’t know of any other source for the part. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it or try eBay, Amazon or similar sites, search by using the manufacturers part number you can also try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or useable part for your machine. Sorry, Thanks, Read More...
Lorraine February 01, 2017 for Model Number JVM1340 In one place it tells me WB15x336 is compatible with my model. In another place it says it is NOT compatible. Would you double check for me and see if this handle is compatible with JVM1340? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Lorraine, This door handle WB15X336 will work on the model provided. The compatibility tool says it is not compatible because the part number crosses from the original part number on the original manufacturers' parts list. We apologize for this as it is still in work. Read More...

Brian Polisky November 15, 2016 for Model Number jvm1350aw003 The almond color door handle broke off at the bottom. I see that there is a screw to detach from the top. There is no apparent screw at the bottom. There is still a broken piece sticking out of the hole where the handle attaches at the bottom. Can this piece be removed and how would the new handle attach at the bottom?
1 Answer Brian, You would have to remove the inner door panel of the microwave and remove the screw that is located inside the panel that is holding that piece in place. Then you can install a new handle. Read More...
