I have had this unit for less than two years and this will be my fourth door handle; all of them have broken under normal use at exactly the same place: the upper tab broke at the point where the two mounting screws go through. The unit was something like a $600 refer and I have spent about $200 or so just replacing door handles... and I have four freezer handles!

Smith, You will want to make sure that the handle is not being overtightened as this would be the most likely cause for the breaking of the door handle.
