Maia, The piece you are referring to may be the vent pad, it is located up around the vent, it should slide into the opening where the vent is located on the inner door panel. It does need to be there to help insulate the opening where the hot air is released into the room.

Debby for Model Number GSD5630D01WW

Does the inner door liner for this model (part AP2040382 I think) come with the side gaskets and bottom gaskets already included? Also I have a couple of screws missing on my inner panel. What part number would I use for those screws? My liner is not cracked and seems to be OK. Can I just replace gaskets all the way around, add the screws and replace the "sound deadeners" on the inside of panel as there are no leaks (yet), but black material seems to be dropping in pieces out of the bottom of the door.

Debby, The inner door panel screw would be part number WD2X322. There is a gasket insert in the center of the door which would be part number WD08X10015, and the door gasket will go down the side of the door and turn under the door and push into place. The part number for the door gasket is WD08X10057.

Hello Steve, The door liner should be the only part needed. If there are any water trails under any of the parts like the dispenser or vent, the gasket for same should be replaced.

Hi Brad, I'm sorry but the manufacturer only supplies the components and not the complete door assembly. Thanks!
