1 Answer Hello Gary, We actually need more information to properly diagnose the issue. At what part of the cycle does the unit shut down and does it shut down at the same places every time? Any other information like noises the unit makes when it shuts down would also be useful. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Mary February 20, 2018 for Model Number GBVH53OOK0WW My GE Front Load Washer leaves the clothes soaking wet. Using the Drain and Spin cycle to remove the water does not help a lot. When using the Drain and Spin cycle it constantly resets the time and goes over and over the same cycle causing a 12 minute cycle to actually take closer to 25-30 minutes. Have checked and cleaned out the drain. What to do?
1 Answer Mary, you may need to remove the drain pump, and check the motor and drain impeller. Also check the tub to pump hose to make sure it's not restricted. Presuming the loaing door does close and lock, and the washer does reach the high spin speed at the end of the cycle. Read More...
Steven October 05, 2017 for Model Number wcvh6800j2ww When my GE front loader is put into test mode t11 I will get a 0 code with no spin. when in t10 it will tumble, so I took off the front panel tested the inverter when putting in test mode I received 120v at the plug site does this mean my inverter is bAD?
1 Answer Hello Steven. Based on the test you performed, it sounds like the motor board is bad and will need to be replaced. If there is power to it and nothing out of it, then the board is bad. Read More...

Jim October 05, 2016 for Model Number WCVH6800J1MS Hello, my GE front load washer will not fill. The valves are good, the water is on and the screens are clean. I am not getting power to the valves. I checked with a meter. I also checked the pressure switch and it also works...... Does the inverter have anything to do with the valves? I already replaced the control board, no change. Still no power to the valves. Please help and Thank You
1 Answer Hello Jim. If the board is new and the valve is good and there is no power, then either the harness is bad or the pressure switch is bad even though it tested good. You need to check the harness in the unit. Read More...

Lynn June 23, 2014 for Model Number GE WCVH6260HWW Hello - I am having a problem with my GE WCVH6260HWW washer. In the last 2 minutes of spin cycle, there was a burning rubber smell and white smoking coming from the machine and inside the drum. took the back off - belt seems to be ok. Have plugged back in and tried another load, no smoke this time, but washer gets stuck in rinse and spin mode. Any help with what this may be? Thank you.
1 Answer Lynn, You will want to check to make sure that the inner tub is not moving up and down independently of the outer tub. If it is moving up and down at any point then it sounds like the tub support has broken and the inner tub would need to replaced. It may also be that something could have gotten caught in between the outer and inner tub. Read More...
Mark April 11, 2014 for Model Number WPDH8800JOMG How does the front panel below the door come off? Does it just snap in or are there screws? This would be the lowest panel below the door that has the small clean out drawer that slides in and out.
1 Answer Hello Mark. The lower front panel should have 3 screws across the bottom of the panel. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Valente. To check the inverter: Remove the service panel. (See Service Panel.) Press the 4 tabs inward and remove the junction box cover. Enter test mode t10, t11, or t14. Check for 120 VAC between the blue and red wires at the AC input harness. Note: The 120 VAC inverter supply voltage is present only when the motor is supposed to be operating. Unplug washer, then check motor resistance. (See Motor Assembly.) If 120 VAC is present at the AC input harness and motor resistance is correct, replace the inverter. Note: If the inverter overheats, the washer will stop for 5 minutes. Read More...
