Fred April 11, 2016 for Model Number pdw9880n0ss dishwasher starts a cycle, beeps shortly into the cycle and drains and stops.
1 Answer Fred, You're on target, you'll need to replace the WD34X11228 Keypad Assembly. One or more of the keypad (most likely the cancel key) circuits is sending a signal to the control board, causing the cycle to cancel. Read More...
George July 06, 2014 Hello, I purchased and replaced key pad part #WD34X10915 on GE Profile dishwasher as most indicator lights did light up. Now all but start button light up. Any other suggestions or problems that could be causing this?
1 Answer George, Make sure that you have a firm connection on the ribbon harness to the control board. If it checks ok then the issue would most likely be a faulty control board. Read More...
Brandon May 15, 2014 for Model Number PDW9280J00SS After a recent power outage, the dishwasher no longer works! Control panel doesn't register anything and can't start machine. I'm able to use/push buttons once the door is closed by using a flathead screwdriver, but even then it doesn't appear to do a full wash cycle and the soap dispenser is never opened. Frustrated and thinking of just replacing the machine entirely. Help?
1 Answer Hello Brandon. Test and see if there is power coming to the control board. If so, and the board does not work, you will need to order and replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Scott P May 04, 2013 for Model Number PDW9880J10SS My panel periodically works than is stuck and all the lights go off and the dishwasher no longer works. Then later the lights will go on and the DW will work. To me it looks like the panel needs replacement How does part no WD34X10915 install. It looks like it is a simple job of pulling the old one off and the new one simply pluged in and applied with self adhesive. Is it that simple.
1 Answer Scott, You will want to access the control board by removing the inner door panel. Once inner door panel is removed you would peel off the existing keypad making sure that you get all of the glue off. Once this is done disconnect the ribbon harness from the control board and plug in new harness. Peel paper from the back of the new keypad and adhere to the control panel. Read More...

Robert J. September 29, 2012 for Model Number pdw9280joos I woke to a constant beep and no lights on the control panel. I have power to the control module but no power out when control ribbon is plugged in. Once I unplug it, I do have power out. Is it the control panel or control module? Thanks, Rob
1 Answer Hello Robert, The only way to test these is fairly in-accurate. That is why GE will give you both part numbers if you call them. I would try the suggested method since it works one in five times. Turn the power to the unit off and remove the control panel. Unplug the ribbon cable from the control board. Close the unit back up and turn the breaker back on. As per GE, if the fault code doesn't come back up in 24 hours, replace the control panel. If the code comes up with the control panel dis-connected, replace the control board. Read More...
