Stacy, We are not showing that there was a stainless model for your design unit and would not be able to determine whether the stainless knobs WB03T10266 will work for your cooktop. They do appear to be the same but the shafts may be the difference.

The only reason I am looking for replacement knobs is because the ones provided with the new stove are sub par. The covering melts with the heat of the oven. My oven knobs look unsightly, with puckered, bubbling surfaces. So, I need to know what the material is on the replacement knobs with certainty. But this begs the question: why do I have to pay to replace? I would hope that GE would endeavor to maintain good customer relations and provide free first time replacement knobs instead of expecting the customer, ME, to have to fork over hard earned money to replace a substandard fixture. All due respect here. Please consider this thoughtfully.

Hello Eva! Unfortunately, we do not have any information from the manufacture advising if the knob WB03T10266 is plastic or metal. From the picture, it seems to be plastic with a stainless steel finish. Thanks.
