Hanh January 08, 2022 for Model Number JGP329, JGP333, PGP943 as listed in my GE gas burner The figure you use in the "Parts for GE JGP329SET2SS: Control Panel & Cooktop Parts" shown four knobs which is the same configuration as shown in my burner; however, one of the KNOB, the one for the main burner, I think, has the same size as shown in your picture from out side but the hole inside has a larger size. Can I use this knob to replace my broken one? Thanks, Hanh
1 Answer Hanh, the models provided appear to be partial numbers. If the model number could be verified from the model/serial number tag and provided in a new question, this will allow the most accurate information to be presented. Read More...
Frank Krieger October 10, 2018 for Model Number JGP633SET2SS serial # SD708378Q I ordered two new cooktop knobs from GE parts using my model # and when I received them neither one will slide onto the post.I even tried a little wd40 , but no luck. They appear to be the correct part ( WB03T10325) and when I called them about the problem they tell me it should fit because they are the right part. The only difference between the new ones and the ones that came with the cooktop are the #'s on the back of the knob. The primary number on the old and the new match ( 191D5100) but there is a second # as well which is different. On the original knobs that # is KIP5H08 while on the new ones it is KIP5E95. Are there two diiferent knobs for this model, and do you have any with the KIP5H08 on the reverse side?
1 Answer Frank, No, there are not two different knobs for the model number you supplied, There are only three versions of the cooktop, and they all use the same knobs WB03T10325 / WB03T10325 Knob. The numbers on the indicate (191D5100) the manufacturing/production part number, and the (KIP5E95) number is the production date, machine and "plant" where the part was produced. To the best of our knowledge, these are the "original" knobs and have not been revised, redesigned, etc. and should fit the gas valve stems with little or no issues. You may want to check the "d" shaped retainer ring, and/or the center shaft of the new knobs for distortion or accumulation of the stainless steel coating on the knob. Read More...
Jerry C. October 14, 2016 for Model Number JGP329SET2SS I am needing to replace four knobs. The serial number on my appliance is vd704603q. I do not see any serial numbers on your sight matching that. They all start with "WB". The chrome plastic knobs on your site look right but do not have the correct number.
1 Answer Hello Jerry, WB03T10325 are the only knobs listed by the manufrcaturer for the model provided. Read More...
Terry September 04, 2014 for Model Number JGP633SETSS I have a GE gas range and it came with crummy plastic knobs that are falling apart. I've contacted GE and they don't have any alternatives for this range. Are there any other brands or products that I could replace my plastic knobs with metal?
