Vince October 03, 2016 for Model Number GE jvm1750sp1ss I noticed my GE microwave was not flush with the top cabinet. It appears as if 2 of the self-aligning screws got stripped or something. I tried to tighten them but they just keep spinning. My guess is one of my kids yanked on the door to climb on the counter. Not sure if new screws is the solution or if there a nut inside the microwave? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Vince, If the body nut WB01X10071 is the issue, the unit will have to be lowered far enough to replace them. If it is the screws, you will need to order the installation hardware kit WB01X10405 to acquire the proper screws. Read More...

Richard C March 11, 2016 for Model Number J VM135WW 002 This is an older model I was given. Plugged it in to test, worked great. Problem is, the bracket came with only 2 machine screws. the two i have are flat head, phillips, with separate punched down bevel washer that it slips into. The head of the screws is 1/2" and the length is 2-3/4" It is a 1/4" screw with a 28 thread count. Any good news?
1 Answer Richard, THe part number for the mounting hardware kit is WB1X1526 but unfortunately has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement. Although it does appear that the mounting screw WB01X10125 should work for your unit. Read More...

Leah November 14, 2014 When microwave was installed, it appears one of the mounting bolts was not put in properly therefore one side hangs. When I try to tighten, it just spins. I'm also not able to take the bolt out. Appliance company wants to charge to come back - trying to fix on my own. Any advise? Is it possible to just drill another hole and remount?
1 Answer Hello Leah. it sounds like the nut that the microwave screws into is bad. You need to look based on your model number and see if you can order a replacement nut and install it into the cover for the microwave. Read More...
