For Ge Oven Bake Element (Part Number: OEM6092997)

Bobby for Model Number JBP25D0K4WH

I need a oven bake element for and older ge range. The part on your web site looks the same as the one I am trying to replace. I checked for part compatibility and there is no match for this range. The only difference I can see in the parts is the screws. Your part uses phillips head (as shown in the video). The part on on my oven uses a hex screw (it's not a phillips or a flat head screw). Would the old screws work with the new one, or would the screws that come with the new one work? Or is it not com- patible for reasons other than the screws don't match?

1 Answer

Paul, The correct part number that shows for your range would be WB44T10010 which also has feet. The major difference between that part and the part that you ordered is about a 1/2" difference in the distance between terminals that you will not be able to bend to match. You will want to order the correct bake element.

Tawanda M for Model Number JBP64BOB4WH

Good day! I have a GE Spectra range and the oven heating element has gone bad. I would like to replace it but I want to make sure I will be ordering the correct part. Based on my model number (JBP64BOB4WH), I can't find it. However, there is a model number in your inventory minus the "O" after the B. Please tell me if this is the correct part before I order it. Thank you in advance for your assistance. By the way, your videos are wonderful...very helpful and you make it look so easy! Tawanda M. Martin
