Ejk July 12, 2013 for Model Number JBP65SOK2SS Hello, need to replace the heating element in GE model jbp65sok2ss. I believe it would be AP2030996 based upon the size, but it's not matching when I enter the range info into the webpage. I see that a very similar model number jbp65sk2ss (no "o") does match. Does this part match my model? Thanks.

Jeff May 15, 2013 for Model Number WB44T10010 What is the electrical resistance range for good and bad elements? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jeff. Good element are closed for continuity and bad elements are open. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Kate R. April 20, 2013 for Model Number GE Spectra #JBP67BOD2WH I am in the process of replacing the element I received from you.The right hand side terminal (coming out from the oven back) seems twisted and harder to rehook up. Is there a right side up or can the two terminals look different once hooked up?Also, how firm do you have to push when rehooking them up?
1 Answer Kate, There is no right or wrong way to connect the wires to the element terminals, as long as theres one wire on each terminal. Most servicers try to maintain the original configuration. the wire terminals do need to fit tightly on the elemnet terminals, you may want to use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove and install the wire terminals on the element terminals, and lightly tug on the wires to make sure they're tight.
