Martin November 26, 2012 for Model Number GE Oven JKP18 The control panel display is completely blank and does not display any error code or digits whatsoever, and does not respond at all to the touchpad input. I've check the breaker for the oven and it was on. The oven light comes on when I open the oven so I suspect the board is getting power. The control panel part number is GE WB27T10069. How do I confirm that this part is the one causing the problem?

1 Answer Hello John, The F2 error code indicates a over temperature condition. If this occured while baking then you would want to check for welded relay contacts on the bake and broil relays on control. If you have welded contact then you need to replace control. If you had just turned unit on then check the oven sensor harness, connection and sensor. You can ohm sensor and it should read approximately 1100 ohms at room temperature. Read More...
